Absolutely wonderful

We spent about 10 days with Adrian touring areas in Romania and Bulgaria and the whole trip was amazing. Adrian is a perfect tour organizer and guide. He is so kind and thoughtful, and really adds a personal touch to everything about the trip. He gets to know you and offers interesting and unique experiences that make his tours truly one-of-a-kind. Starting out, he had the van well stocked with bottles of water - still and sparkling - along with tissues and lots of other travel essentials that came in handy. After a few days of my husband ordering Coke Zero everywhere we ate, a stock of Coke Zero showed up in the van cooler. Adrian knows so much about the area and its history. I felt like spending a week traveling around with him probably taught me more about Romanian history and culture than you’d learn in a semester college course on the same topic. Adrian clearly works hard to come up with unique and authentic experiences for the guests on his tours, but does so in a way that is organic and comfortable - not contrived. Not only does he take you to the classic sites (Bran Castle, the Black Church, etc.) he will add out-of-the-way places that fit your interests. We got to see traditional coppersmithing, blacksmithing, and pottery making and went to a jam tasting along with a couple of charming traditional dinners in Romania and Bulgaria. Spending time with locals in their homes were some of the most memorable parts of the trip. Adrian is a truly charming person who goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your trip. Do yourself a HUGE favor and book a trip with him. My best advice is to be honest about what is important to you and what you’re looking for. He give you just what you’re looking for if you let him know what that is - are you on a budget? Would you rather pay a little more for a more comfortable hotel or better restaurants? How far do you want to walk? How often do you need to stop for food or restrooms? If you are looking for a truly customized experience, look no further! Adrian will be your new favorite guide. You’ll love Romania almost as much as Adrian.
