Everyone should visit Romania at least once in their lifetime, and more than once if they’re lucky. Even seasoned travelers will be awestruck by the country’s outstanding natural beauty, the stunning architecture and the welcoming nature of its people. To fully appreciate everything Romania has to offer, we highly recommend Adrian Ene and Tours in Romania, especially if you are a first time visitor. We had less than a month to plan a two week trip around the country during high season, not an easy task. We could not do it on our own and found Tours in Romania through the recommendation of another traveler, and Adrian did not disappoint. He went above and beyond planning every detail of our itinerary, suggesting unique hotels, sending menus to select our meals, and his communication was excellent. The tour price was a great value compared to many other EU countries and included airport transport, hotels, entrance fees and many meals. History is found around every corner, and no one can rival Adrian’s encyclopedic knowledge of the culture, folklore or the origins of every sight we visited. Romania is home to eight World Heritage sights, dozens of medieval fortified churches, impressive castles, the Carpathian Mountains, the Danube Delta, and Bucharest, the Little Paris of the East. There’s so much to see. Accommodations were lovely, especially the homestay and the medieval hotels. Some of our fondest memories are of the farmers working in the fields and the locals in their tiny villages. Adrian always stopped when we wanted to take a photo and taught us basic phrases so we could share a few words with the locals. We cannot express our gratitude to Adrian for helping us fall in love with Romania. He is committed to providing the best, personalized tour and asks each day if you are happy or want to see more nature, less museums, eat with the locals, visit a special sight off the beaten path, etc. He has so many unique suggestions and wants each guest to be completely satisfied. Adrian is an enjoyable guide who takes care that his clients have the best travel experience possible. He offers several choices of sights to see in each locale and is flexible about the time schedule. Each day started with treats and water available in the car to make sure we comfortable while traveling. He was knowledgeable about places to eat and encouraged us to try the local food, which was delicious and plentiful. He gave us lots of information about the places we saw and was able to get us into them without waiting in the long tourist lines. Some of our favorite experiences were The Village in Bucharest and in Sibiu, the meals with local families along the route, the fortified churches, particularly the one in Harman, Bran Castle and Peles Castle, a must see in our book. We took Adrian as our guide for a week long family trip. Adrian picked us up from the airport, and immediately his kindness and polite manners came to action. Every day he picked us up on time, waiting with a clean car, water and some snacks. We felt very safe with him driving (even at night) , as he is probably the best driver on Romanian roads. My customised solo trip was for 10 days started from Bucharest - Sinaia & Peles Castle–Bran Castle-Brasov - Sighisoara-Turda–Cluj–Baia Mare. Adrian has very well customised it and he properly managed with some extra places which were not included in the itinerary and on the way he give me some extra time to visit the marvellous jewels of Romania. We had the most fabulous trip to the Carpathian mountains with Adrian We toured for a week, 3 families in 3 cars with 7 children aged 12-16. Adrian is a highly knowledgeable and warm hearted guide , which also had a great rapore with the kids who were of all ages with his stories and anecdotes. Romanian Tour Adrian arranged a superb eight day tour for us. This included overnight stays in Sibiu, Sighisoara and Brasov. After discussing our requirements we had left the details of the trip to Adrian who scheduled a full itinerary of sightseeing and visits, many off the beaten track. We were able to set a pace to suit ourselves, I’m not as fit as I’d like and Adrian was at all times mindful of this. Finally, and with very little notice, Adrian was able to arrange an informative one day tour of Bucharest. Adrian’s obvious love of Romania shines through in his knowledge and enthusiasm and is only matched by his professional and friendly approach. Romania is a beautiful and welcoming place and having an excellent local guide ensured that our limited time there was not wasted.
